I love spending time with all dogs, big or small. I enjoy staying active and love the company of little or large dogs who like hanging out in the great outdoors. I have regularly volunteered as a dog walker at an animal refuge over the past 5 years and I consider myself to be very confident with pooches. I would love nothing more than to take your dog for long walks and play for as long as they need! I live really close to Victoria park & Hackney Marshes so lots of places to sniff and explore! I am aware that cuddles are very important for some doggies and they're very good for me too, but I'm happy to give your dog the space they need if they're not the cuddling type.

Laura is brilliant with our very lively Springer. She is very reliable, patient and a lovely person. It helps that she clearly really likes dogs and looks after ours as if he were her own. Fantastic service all round :-)
Laura is very good with animals and was a volunteer dog walker with me at The Animal Refuge in Carlisle looking after rescue dogs and cats. I have seen her around animals in the above setting and many of the dogs especially had experienced abandonment or poor controls or neglect and Laura was able to relate to all of these- even quite large and strong dogs and manage to to walk and play with these dogs happily . I have also seen Laura with family and friend’s pets - mainly cats and dogs. They always enjoy her company and seek her out! Laura is always kind and gentle yet firm with animals and she sets up good boundaries with them and she quickly develops a good rapport with them and she encourages play and exercise and gives them affection appropriately.

I don't have any breed preferences, I would prefer to meet all dogs and dog owners ahead of time to make sure we're compatible. I'd like to know what your dog might be like around other dogs or around children, so I can plan walks to cater to their needs. It's good to be aware of what they particularly enjoy or if there's anything that spooks them or makes them anxious.
A typical day
Victoria Park is 2 mins walk from me, and Epping forest just a short trip in my car so lots of places to sniff, meet other dogs (if they want to!) and stretch little or long legs. I'm also quite accomplished at throwing sticks & balls should your dog enjoy being let off the lead - so long as you’re sure they'll come back to me. I also enjoy going for runs, so if your dog might like that too, it's always nice to have a partner! I take lots of iced water around with me on extra hot days with pooches and like to make sure we’re keeping cool whenever possible.
