Pet care experience
Hello! I just finished veterinary school and want to continue working with animals while I study for my board exam. I have 8 years of animal education and have had lots of experience with all types of animals along the way - ranging from dogs and cats to iguanas and raptors! I previously worked at a Pet Resort where I was responsible for feeding, cleaning up after, playing with, walking, and medicating dogs. I also did a lot of dog walking during my veterinary school years. I have a lot of experience cat-sitting as well, and have my own cat. Having completed my schooling, I am very comfortable doing any tasks needed involving dogs and cats, for example medicating - oral, topical, injectable, etc - and even assisting paralyzed, arthritic, or paraplegic animals.

Laura was fantastic. One of our cats is diabetic, and requires twice daily injections. She always arrived on the 9’s (am&pm), took care of business, and stuck around for a 1/2 hour to play with them. On every visit (2x daily for 8 days) we received a mini report and 4-5 pics. Thank you, Laura!

Laura was excellent! We received pictures and updates about our boy at least once a day, which was nice. We were a little worried about having a stranger take care of our pet and our house but upon meeting Laura I was put at ease. I could tell immediately that she truly cared about animals. Upon returning home our old boy looked healthy and happy and our house looked better than when we left. We won't hesitate to have Laura pet and house sit for us next time we need to go out of town.
