I took this job because I love animals, and their care, protection and happiness is more important to me then some check. I believe dogs are more then just pets, they are family, and I will protect, care for and love them like i do my own. I have experience as a veterinary technician, working in day hospitals, animal emergency clinics and even internships in Vet Teaching hospitals (OSU and CSU). I graduated from Colorado State University with a Bachelors in Microbiology, and am currently unemployed with goals of obtaining my certification in Medical Laboratory Science. I adopted my very first dog, Lummy, 12 years ago, and she was my everything. Because of the knowledge and experience I have learned from previous jobs and schools, your dogs wont only be cared for and loved, but will be protected as well. I have experience and training in dealing with emergencies that require medical attention. I do not give dogs human food. I am experienced in administering medications to dogs and have tricks to make it more pleasant (for both me and the dog). If your pet has a medical condition that requires frequent or complicated care NO PROBLEM, I have experience with this and would make sure to keep you updated and record my actions. I am not afraid of being bitten, I do not believe in physical punishment, I have worked with and cared for aggressive dogs and am open to the idea of pet sitting/walking them as well. I don't mind cleaning up dog messes, and I will pick up poop. I can give your dog a bath and nail trimming, but it will cost extra. I can also do household cleaning for an additional fee as well.
