Pet Granny

Pet care experience

I am a stay at home and pet mommy. Bring your babies over for a play dates or sleepovers. They will be treated just like our babies. We have a 14-year-old Chiweenie, a 12-year-old Chihuahua, a one-year-old cat in an 11-year-old bunny rabbit who runs free range in the backyard. Will you take daily walks, weather permitting. If I keep your pet on a regular basis we will have a place for you to put their things like their leashes and their food bowls, whatever else your pet needs. I am the mother of six grown children with no grandchildren yet so these pets are helping me with my empty nest syndrome. My husband and I are home most nights and spend a lot of time with our pets.

I have known Laura for years. She loves animals. She has a ten year old rabbit in her backyard and had a pet chicken for years. She loves her chihuahuas like they are her children. I trust her completely with my pets.

I would not want a cat that has too many allergies or is too sensitive to other animals. We have two dogs and a cat and a rabbit in the backyard and everybody gets along as a pack. When other animals stay here they join right in with the packet and everybody plays and has a great time together. If you have a pet that needs a lot of personal attention or regulated medication, this is probably not the best place for you.

A typical day

We go on walks around the neighborhood. I have a sling or wagon for the little ones who don’t want to walk too far. We have a grass yard
