Pet care experience
I have been caring for friends and family’s pets since I was 12. I have experience with dogs of all sizes, and cats of all temperaments. I love pit bulls, so if you are having trouble finding care for your pit bull friend because of breed specific bias, I’m your gal. I also have experience with rescue animals, animals with specific diets and oral medications, and elderly animals. I have house sitting experience, that way your pet doesn’t have to deal with the stress of a new environment. With overnight care I will be staying in your home, and I am willing to meet beforehand so that we can get to know each other better. This way you can have an opportunity to learn more about me before you trust me with your home and pets.

Laura is great. She is our go to for dog walking and dog sitting. She is always on time, sends updates and pictures and we just know that with her our dogs are safe and happy!
Laura was wonderful with our new pup! We came home to happy well cared for pup and a clean home. Laura always goes above and beyond when dog sitting, she follows all specific instructions, communicates often and even washes the bedding before we arrive home!
Laura is the best! On a very short notice she managed to help us and come walk our pups. She is always super responsive, gives updates and make sure the dogs are taken care of. Laura rocks!

I would like to know if your dog or cat has had issues in the past with biting, and what lead up to any incident. If your dog or cat is a rescue and has trust issues, I would like to know that as well. I am fairly tall (5’8”), so if your pet has a fear of tall people, it would be best that we meet first to decide what’s best for your pet.
A typical day
I know of several dog friendly hiking trails, and I can take your dog for a fun outdoor adventure. I have a dog seat belt so if your dog likes car rides we can make it an outing. If your dog likes dog parks, I will look up the best in your area so that your dog can play with friends. With cats I have several toys that we can play with, and years of experience from growing up with cats and kittens.
