I helped my family take care of our dogs while I was growing up, as well as looked after other people's dogs on occasion. I have been caring for my own (a standard schnauzer called Eddie) for more than 2 years now.

I have an apartment so dogs will not be in a garden or yard they could escape from. I keep dogs on leashes when out walking, though, where possible, I give them length to explore and play.

I would like to know how they get on with other dogs, how much exercise they need, any health concerns or unusual things that might scare them.
A typical day
We take a walk in the morning and afternoon, either along the river or to the park. Eddie, my dog, will be happy to play and has toys that he can share. I too can play regularly, as I work from home on a regular schedule. I am also happy to work on some training with them if you let me know what.

I am generally working from home on weekdays, so can fit dog day care and boarding in easily. My only requirement is drop off for day care/ pick up for boarding 7:30 at the earliest and pick up no later than 23:00.
