My name is Laura. I am half Dutch half American and I am an avid lover of animals (dogs in particilar). I had a dog growing up from the age of 6 to 18 and I of course learned in those years how to take care of dogs. I also carried out a year of dog walking and sitting in London. No matter whose dog I am looking after or pass on the street, I can fall in love with a dog instantly. I believe it’s crucial to be careful if you don’t know a dog well and you’re out with strangers wanting to pet it. I am careful also in the company of other dogs. It’s important to take precautions and be vigilant. Most importantly however, I simply understand dogs and know that I cannot live my life without them. They bring me pure joy and to have the responsibility to take care of a dog would be such a privilege and opportunity for me.
