Pet care experience
I have 2 dogs. Lilly (beagle- age 4) and Reese (beagle mix - age 2) are my whole life. They are both local rescue dogs that were saved from terrible lives in the south. ❤️ I hike with them every weekend and always bring my babies on any vacation. I like to get out and explore with the pups 🐶

Laura and I have been friends for 6+ years now and I have always known her as a dog lover. In the beginning of our friendship we would often go to nearby dog shelters to give dogs attention there that needed company. Since then she has adopted 2 dogs that had been in bad situations from shelters and has given them the utmost care that they have needed. Both dogs started out frightened of the world, but have grown in personality and have reformed a trust in humanity with Laura’s help.
Laura is very kind and loving towards all animals and humans! She treats her dogs as if they were her children. They won the lotto when she became their mom. She makes sure they are fed the best food, get plenty of exercise and even more cuddles and love! I’d trust her to take care of my dog anytime!
Laura is a great caregiver for both her dogs. Whether it's using her lunch to ensure her dogs get extra walks and free time or bringing them on substantial homes she makes sure they are getting everything they need including exercise in this crazy time.
Laura is the best dog owner I know. She puts her dogs health and well being above her own. I would definitely recommend her to take care of my own dogs without hesitation. 5 out of 5 paws.

We just bought a house in March and we have a fenced in back yard now! The girls are so excited :) They still require multiple walks per day though.

Important things to know about a dog ahead of time: Any temperament issues - biting/scratching. If they get along with all other dogs or only small dogs, only female dogs, etc. (any preferences for dogs they want to be near and dogs to stay away from). If they handle well on a leash or require some extra love on walks. If they are house trained.
A typical day
I like to take dogs to the nearby dog parks - colonie town center, niskayuna dog park, Scentral dog park in Halfmoon, etc. I love to run around and play with high energy dogs to get them tuckered out. I also enjoy walks by any type of water - at peebles island, along the Canal in Waterford, etc. ?

Availability
I am currently home 24/7 on maternity leave! I go back to work Mon-Fri 8-5pm at the end of February and will no longer need help with the dogs.
