I have adopted and fostered dogs for 20 years and consider them family members. My 16 year old chow-lab mix passed in 2020 and I've missed the dog hair on my clothes, pawprints on the floor, and barking. During her senior years, she required a lot of care as she was mobility challenged from Arthritis. While we didn't run and play, we still took "walks" - she rode in a wagon to get some outside time. Getting down on the floor to play is something I have a reputation for and the slobber is welcomed. There's nothing better than dog kisses!
