Pet care experience
I absolutely love animals and have had dogs my whole life. I am used to taking care of animals including dogs, cats and my pet hedgehog! I currently work at an animal shelter and run my own animal rescue, so I am well versed in the ins and outs of caring for animals. I am unable to bring animals into my house but would love to walk dogs and house sit if needed! I have handled shy, friendly, fearful and aggressive dogs and am currently looking into taking dog training courses to further my knowledge in this area. If you have any questions please let me know!

Laura is a fantastic dog sitter. I could tell from the moment I met her I had nothing to worry about leaving my pup with her for the weekend, which was nice to not have to stress about it. She clearly loves animals a lot and it shows. My puppy had a great time and came home tired and ready for a nap. I would take my pup back to Laura anytime!
Laura is awesome! She was very accommodating with my puppy, and she was very friendly, as well! Would definitely come back to her in the future!

I have taken courses on how to read certain behaviours and respond accordingly so as to keep both myself and the animal safe and happy.

I have no breed preferences, but would like to know a little bit about the dogs temperament and any care information! Working at the shelter I am familiar with all different breeds and sizes and comfortable with all.
A typical day
I live in a small neighbourhood that is great for dog walks with many trails near by. Although I am unable to bring dogs into my home, I do have a large fenced backyard that is perfect for off leash play at the end of a walk!

I currently am part time at the animal shelter so I am available all day Tuesday, Thursday and Friday after 5 and Monday and Wednesday after 7.
