Pet care experience
I've been caring for animals both personally and professionally since I was a teenager. I have most experience with dogs and cats, but have cared for everything from tarantulas to horses. I have experience with senior and young animals, high anxiety animals, and giving medication. I also walk daily and am happy to bring your dog with me if you'd like. I have a pet free home (both of my babes passed in the last year) and have room in the house and my heart to care for yours with utmost care. I'm also happy to care for your home and garden while you're away!

Laura was great! She took very good care of my babies. It was my first time having someone come over and watch my doggos. She sent me a picture of her and my pittie Blue and let me know how both dogs were doing. I will be using Laura in the future if she is available, she is a gem.

My yard is well fenced at home, there are no other animals. We live down a long country lane, but if taken into the front yard I will always use a leash as there is not a fence in front. If I'm in your home I will always keep doors locked etc to be sure your home and pet are safe. Security is very important to me and I double check everything before leaving the home.

If your dog has any special needs, please let me know. I also love to have veterinary information in case of emergency. How well your dog gets along with other dogs and humans is important as well, if we will venture into the community.
A typical day
Generally we will get up around 7am, and walk or chase balls early! Depending on the day, I may then head to work. Will check in around lunch time for potty break and some love. For the afternoons, I have a big back yard and that is our first place to play! Lots of room to run and sniff. I also like to take doggos to the many trails in the area, if appropriate. I'm also open to any suggestions the owner has- if there's a place your dog likes to play, I'm happy to go there!

Availability
I currently work full time, with about 50% of my hours being done remotely. This gives me a good deal of flexibility, but generally speaking your pet should be able to go ~4 hours alone. If there's a specific circumstance with your pet just let me know and I can try to be as flexible as possible.
