Like most, I grew up with dogs and I'm enamored! My heart belongs to animals of all varieties but I hold dogs in a special spot in that heart! I've been dog sitting since I was a teenager and I don't back down from a dog with special needs. My dog sitting style is on the couch, in our bed and loaded with snuggles and play. I get as much out of the interaction as the dogs do. I'm also a stickler for making sure your dog's routine stays as close to normal as possible. If your dog eats at a very specific time, that's when he eats at my house. If he only gets in on the left side of the car (like my old boy did), that's where he gets in! My husband and I have 2 labradoodles (I grew up with standard poodles) and we unfortunately had to help our elder boy pass last week. I'm not ready to take on another pooch for a while but I am looking to help the hurt one paw at a time with dog sitting and dog walking. I hope you'll allow me to snuggle your special guy/gal!
