About Us: Laura and Dan are 2 friends who live together and look after pets, either in their home or at the pets' homes. Laura has looked after puppies, dogs in season, and dogs of all sizes and character! Laura's family pet is a cockerpoo and she enjoys running. Dan's background is looking after cats and dogs - and is disciplined and fair. We both work from home and have flexible schedules - so there is always someone at home. We have had recently winter break boarders with us and are happy to take multiple pets. We would love to have our own pets in the future, but for now, we enjoy helping to look after yours! Our house is child free and smoke free and we live within walking distance of several parks. We are happy for pets to come to us or to come to you. We are lucky to have a walk in shower and are happy to wash any pets who enjoy jumping in dirty puddles or are low to the ground. We appreciate each pet is different and are happy to discuss any requirements and learn about and meet your pet(s) in advance!

Laura was great with Teddy. He and the flat were well looked after. I got updates throughout the day which was lovely! And he was super sleepy the next day so he’d clearly had a lovely day of walks/company/enrichment!
Laura sat our Teddy til the early hours of the morning for us as we had a wedding to attend. Teddy was super comfortable with her and had a lovely time! Very much would recommend using Laura :)
Laura and Dan were incredible sitters for our dog Mattie. They completely opened their home to him, let him roam as if it was his own and clearly made him feel so cared for and welcome. He was walked regularly every day and best of all, we got loads and loads of updates and pics so we felt so comfortable knowing he was safe and being cared for so well.
Repeat booking with Laura! So fab she took Yasuke on super long walks with another sound dog and my puppy was so happy and tired by the end of the day/ came to pick up! Thank you for providing lots of stimulating things for him to do! He's always a happy chappy after being with Laura and Dan! :) xo

We are in an apartment on the first floor, and have a small green area outside. When we have looked after pets in the past, we have taken them to the park just up the road on multiple occasions throughout the day. Pets can sleep in their own space which has solid floors or are welcome to be in the carpeted rooms - we have several dog rugs (Laura's family dog has many!) and lots of blankets. We are happy to follow owner's own rules on whether you are happy for them to be on furniture etc - and this is agreed in advance to boarding. When visiting pets in their home environment, we follow owners' careful instructions - for example, if cat sitting, ensuring we provide the correct feed, clean the litter tray and turn on the heating (if needed)! We are flexible and can tailor according to the needs of those we are helping. We are keen on sending updates on how your pets are doing, and are happy to do this via whatsapp, telegram etc. We also will check in on key factors (e.g. allergies) in case we are unsure or this hasn't been specified. Laura's family dog is allergic to a lot of things so she appreciates when a dog may have sensitivities to certain foods or products!

Let us know if your pets have any behaviours or allergies that we should be aware of. Their comfort is important to us (and we're used to it!). No matter how odd the command (for example, Laura's family dog Ruby responds to 'Oi', 'This Way!' and 'Bye!' as return commands.

We love to head round to the local parks, try out new routes and local places that are dog friendly, as well as lots of quality time with the pets we're looking after.

Availability
We both work full time and hybrid (2 days a week in the office) - with one of us always being at home. We are flexible with location and any caring or walking needs. Our working schedules and personal routines means we are able to be flexible and make changes/adaptations when needed.
