As COO at a local non-profit animal shelter, and as a proud parent to a rescue of my own, I am comfortable working with dogs and cats of all shapes, sizes and personalities. I meet new dogs and cats each day at work, many that are scared, timid and confused. I understand that it takes time for some pets to warm up to a new person, and I have the patience and understanding to take things at your pet's pace. My pup: Braxton is a three year old superhero! He came to me shortly after his back left leg was amputated. He may have had a horrible start to life, but he sure has bounced back and he does not let his disability slow him down. He can be a little shy of people at first, but he loves his doggy friends. He is a handsome mixed breed weighing about 40 lbs. I am absolutely willing to care for any animals you may have. I have experience with fish, frogs, cats and birds. I would love to expand my experience with other pets, if given the opportunity. I am trained to administer medications (oral or injections).
