Pet care experience
Hi! My name is Laura and I am a junior at Virginia Tech. I have had a life-long passion for taking care of animals and hope to care for yours. Throughout my life I have cared for dogs, cats, reptiles, small mammals, horses, cows, pigs, chickens, and much more! I love all animals, big and small, and am able to watch over your household pets and/or any farm pets. I have had dogs my entire life, currently a proud pup owner of my hyper, loving golden retriever, and I know all the ins and outs of canine care. I provide play-time, grooming, walks/dog park visits, food/water cleaning and replenishment, medical aid, and so much more for your pup(s). I have training experience with puppies, and can handle all temperaments. Elderly dogs hold a special place in my heart so I will ensure their safety and comfortability. No matter the age or size, I would love to care for your four-legged family member!

As a parent to two adorable kitties, Laura is already very experienced in pet caregiving. She makes sure all their needs are met and often spoils them to treat them as well. Laura is responsible, attentive, and loving, is more than able and can be completely trusted to care for your pets!
Laura was so sweet to my pups! They love when she comes over! She always goes over and beyond when she comes to take my pups out. She is always on time and a very loving pet sitter!

A typical day
I love to play fetch and tug-of-war with dogs because they are fun, interactive games to play together and will help dogs get good rest afterwards. With cats, I’ve found that they enjoy playing with teaser toys, string, and sometimes fetch with small toys. One thing I do with my animals and with the animals that I sit for is to play music for them, either with my ukulele or from a playlist on my phone, because animals love to have some peaceful music playing during down-time.

Availability
My availability is fully open from mid-May to early August since I am home for college for the summer. I provide house visits and overnight stays anytime of the day or night. I have my own vehicle so reliable transportation is not an issue.
