After years of dog sitting and adopting my first dog as an adult, I started volunteering and fostering with a local rescue that focuses on former hunting dogs. I have helped a number of dogs learn to love being indoor pets. I have experience with house training and overcoming fear of people and new environments. I also have experience with young puppies. While I don't have a fenced in yard, we spend a lot of time outside and have direct access to the ATT

Our dog had a wonderful time with Laura! She took him on ample walks and lots of playtime with her pup. Laura was very responsive and sent daily updates with picture. We will definitely use her again.
Laura took care of our pup harley for 4 days while we was away. This was our 1st time leaving her with someone else overnight, and we was nervous because we wasn’t sure how Harley will react. But, WOW! Laura was so great with her, understood her & literally made us feel so comfortable that harley was in great hands. And She def was!! If your looking for someone to literally make your animal feel safe, love & cared for. LAURA IS THAT RIGHT PERSON! She’s the most sweetest, gentle and understanding person. While I don't have a fenced in yard, I live in a pet friendly apartment with access to the Tobacco Trail, a dog park, and plenty of common spaces. I have room for crating dogs who are crate trained and a dining area that I have used, with a pen, for puppies that I have fostered.

A typical day
I love going for long walks on the ATT and often go hiking with my dog. We play scent games, enjoy puzzle toys and have an ongoing games of fetch and tug. My dog likes to play with other dogs and has always seemed to adapt play style to that of his friend.

I am currently working from home and have flexibility in my schedule for playing with and caring for dog friends. My foxhound puppy loves having new friends join us. I am available for boarding and daycare!
