I have had cats since I was a kid. I started volunteering with cats at the Marin Humane Society and senior dogs at Lily’s Legacy as a volunteer 5 years ago. I now volunteer at the North Bay Animal Shelter with my family, walking and socializing the dogs. I have a rescue senior kitty named Layken who I love more than anything. My brother is in vet tech school and I come from a family of animal lovers. I have house-sat dogs and cats, including puppies, for the last 10 years.

Laura was wonderful to work with. It was very comforting knowing that she was looking after our two cats while we were away.
Our pup has a lot of trauma and anxiety and Laura was so patient and sweet with her, totally winning her over. It was a huge relief to have someone so capable caring for our girl 🤍
This is the second time we have hired Laura to care for our senior Siamese cat and she has again done a stellar job. We felt like our cat was in caring hands. Each visit was accompanied by a detailed report of how our baby was doing and some really great photos. Laura even put out our garbage/recycling bins without us even asking when I had forgotten about that. We'll definitely hire Laura again in the future.

A typical day
I love to take dogs out into nature so they can breathe fresh air and smell all the good smells! I make sure all the dogs I care for are not only physically but mentally stimulated and love playing with them and giving a lot of ear scratches and belly rubs. I will give your kitties a lot of attention and love and play time.

I left the corporate world after 20 years in July and now work from home as a mental health educator through my company LDC Wellbeing. I regularly teach courses such as Mental Health First Aid.
