My name is Laura and I’m extremely passionate about animals. I have cared for dogs and cats for over 25 years as they’ve been a huge part of my life. I will make it my priority to ensure sure your furry companion is in the best of care and will treat them as if they were my own! I enjoy playing with animals that have high energy levels but also love hanging with animals who rather kick back and relax. I have experience with many different sizes and breeds of dogs and cats, as well as animals with special needs, puppies, kittens, and seniors. It’s important to me that animals get all the love and care they deserve. I would be tickled pink at the opportunity to help care for your furry friend!

As a cat owner and dog lover, I'd say Laura is the nicest, most capable person you could leave your pet with. Her work ethic is exceptional and she brings years of professional and personal experience to the table. I work long hours and commute quite a way to Manhattan so sometimes I don't have the extra time I need in the morning or evening to take care of my animals. She has always responded quickly and treated them with such great care. On a personal note, she's so easy to talk to and extremely knowledgeable about all things pets. Her passion for dogs - from all walks of life - really shines through. I would not think twice about hiring her.
The minute we needed someone to watch Hooper long term, we called Laura. She has been a lifelong pet owner of dog, cats, and bird which has led to a love and understanding of animals. She is attentive, sweet and kind. She plays with him until he is worn out, which is essential for a husky puppy. Laura also understands the dog needs positive reinforcement and disciplines where needed. Anyone who uses her services will find a dedicated and loving sitter/trainer/walker.

I currently have 3 cats, 2 dogs, and 2 parrots in my family. My cats and dogs eat breakfast, dinner, and snacks in between. One of my dogs is a very active Jack Russel while the other is a senior Rat Terrier who needs special attention. My 2 parrots are about 20+ year old and have an extensive diet.

A typical day

I work at home full time Monday through Friday. I am available after 5:30 PM on the weekdays and all day on Saturday and Sunday.
