As Laura's brother, I have over 30 years of experience watching Laura play with and care for animals. One of Laura's favorite things to do is attend the best-in-class dog shows. I have probably gone to over 100 shows with Laura and tagged along while she chats with the groomers and the breeders, and of course plays with all of the dogs. She lights up around animals and knows everything about every breed. She is a bank of dog knowledge, no matter the size, origin, or breed. She has been referring to herself as a "Dog Whisperer" since before Cesar Milan made it cool or famous. Ten years ago, I picked up a Belgian Malinois. He quickly grew into a very large intimidating dog and everyone was terrified to get near him, except for Laura. She has never been afraid of dogs and knows how to work with them in a way that makes them feel comfortable and unafraid. She's socialized all of the dogs we've ever owned and loves taking them hiking or out to big parks to play. I'm so happy my brother-in-law, Jason, is equally as much of a dog lover as Laura and it's a passion they definitely share. I can't think of a better couple to recommend for this purpose.
