I've had dogs all my life. Currently I share my life with Teddy, a 68-pound, mixed-breed, bundle of love. Teddy gets along with other dogs but before your dog comes to stay with us, we’ll make sure that both of them get along and will be friends. The backyard is fenced with a three-foot fence and is fairly large. Your dog can safely run free and play as long as you assure me they will not jump the fence. I’ve cared for the pets of many people in the Twin Cites area including dogs, cats, chickens, peacocks, rabbits, horses, and even a few cows and goats. I've had dogs all my life. When I was 11, I begged my parents for a dog. Soon we had a Welsh Terrier puppy named Tag. After college, I found a stray puppy on the streets of Chicago. Her owners no longer could care for her, so I adopted her. Duncan was a shepherd husky hound who could open anything - including gates and the refrigerator - and entertained kids by sliding down ladders at the park Keesha was a Siberian Husky who got me outside in all seasons to walk, run, ski, snowshoe, and hike. We traveled North America together and even climbed a few mountains. Keesha was the Buddha dog, full of wisdom and presence. Your dog will be a treasured guest in my home.
