Aren't dogs just so much better than people :-)
Pet care experience
After having dogs for the majority of my life, all I would want to know is that my pet is being cared for by someone who truely loves and cherishes animals. So that's what I want to be able to offer to other people. I have always had Westies, but I have also looked after and walked a number of different breeds ranging from Maltese to German Shepherd's, from Cockapoos to Staffies. I also volunteer at a local dog kennels so have walked all different breeds there, but mainly small to medium size dogs. I'm excited to offer these services, as I love dogs and miss having a dog around. Sadly after 14 lovely years, my last dog passed away after inheriting westie lung which is an untreatable condition. I'm not in a position to have my own dog just yet, and I'm hoping to be able to foster at some point next year. So whilst I'm working from home and have a lot of time on my hands with not knowing anyone in the area (I have recently moved to Eastham), I thought this would be a great way to get to spend time with dogs and hopefully meet new people.
Reviews
Laura took great care of my dog Tillie, lots of updates and Tillie definitely enjoyed herself! Thanks again!
Was great with Ottis, updated regurlarly how he was and what he got up to, absolutely shattered coming home so was more than happy, would use again.
We were so pleased with Laura. Great, reliable, honest and went above and beyond to look after our 15 week puppy Charlie. Thank you xx
Laura stayed at my house for 3 days and looked after my 1 year old cockapoo Tilly. She walked Tilly twice a day, and fed her twice a day as requested. She sent us regular videos and photos, and kept our house super tidy. Tilly had a lovely time with Laura and we felt so at ease leaving her. I would definitely recommend and book Laura again.

Your pet will be in a non-smoking household with no other pets. I won't take on pets from other households whilst looking after yours - they will get my undivided attention. There is a large garden for them to roam in and I will keep an eye on them at all times or take them out on the lead, as at present there are gaps in the hedges.

Information Laura D. would like to know about your pet
I like to meet all dogs in advance of looking after them so I can monitor how they are on walks, how you like them walked and so you can let me know any important information about them. I also like to offer the opportunity to come to the house so they are familiar with it in advance. This might help settle any anxiety they may get from being away from home and out of their usual routine. As some animals can be a bit anxious being in other people's homes, I'm happy to look after them in your home as long as there is Wi-Fi and an area I can set my laptop up to work.
A typical day
I will take your dog on different walks each day so they don't get bored of the same routes and can experience new smells and surroundings. I encourage you to bring a variety of toys and treats for them and I'll play with them as much as possible whilst also trying to help train younger dogs or puppies. We will have lots of cuddles in the evening if they like a lot of affection or they can go off to their bed or a quiet area if they wish.

Availability
I work from home 5 days a week, so I am able to give your pet the regular attention they need throughout the day. Letting them outside for toilet breaks, walking them over lunch time and feeding them when needed. If I'm boarding your dog, then they will also receive a walk in the morning and evening if needed - I will work to your usual schedule.
