Hello, I'm Laura! I'm a 26 year old freelance writer currently living in Tucson. Although I love writing, my true passion has always been (and always will be) caring for animals. I'm that person who drops everything I'm doing without hesitation to pet the random dog walking by on the street. I've been pet sitting since I was 10 years old and have worked with over 15 different clients throughout the years. I would love to have a pet myself but my housing does not allow it so it's nice to be able to spend time with your furry family members and treat them like my own! I take the time to understand their personalities and build trust, as well as giving them my undivided attention, making their time with me as pleasant as possible. I am experienced in following many unique routines so they are healthy and comfortable in my care, including administering medicine, helping with physical therapy or calming high stress animals. I'm available for frequent house visits, long or short walks, and overnight stays. It's a top priority to ensure they feel constant love and affection while their parents are temporarily absent, as I know how stressful that can be. Along with dogs, I have also cared for cats, chickens and rabbits. Animals are my life (I am a long time vegan and animal activist) and I hope you will consider me to look after your best friends when needed.
