Hi! My name is Laura. I am grateful for a career in which I can work part-time from home. This flexibility in my schedule provides the opportunity to help people care for their pets when they do not have this as option. I have grown up and have always cared for several animals. Pets have been a huge part of my life ever since I can remember. I'm experienced in feeding, walking and caring for an assortment of animals, such as dogs, cats, horses, and turtles to name a few. I've administered medications and changed animal diapers. I have also volunteered for local animal shelters where I helped walk, play and place pets in happy homes. I have a passion for animals and I've been actively pet-sitting for friends, family, neighbors and their referrals for over 5 years. I am fortunate enough to be apart of a family that has always loved and cared for dogs, and for that reason I have learned how to deal with dogs of all ages and sizes. I have experience in dogsitting for temperamental Pitbulls, hyper-active Australian Shepherds and Chihuahuas with medical problems. Throughout all stages of my life I have had a dog nearby and I hope to never be far from one. My dogs have always been family, which is why I understand how difficult it can be to trust just anyone with your animals and to make sure they receive the love and attention they need while you are away. I currently have a large, friendly black lab mix in my home named Ranger - he's five years old with the heart of a puppy! He's my pride and joy, and he is very well aware of that fact. He loves to play with other dogs and is updated on his shots and tags as well as being micro-chipped and neutered. Ranger and I spend a lot of our time together running, hiking, snuggling, fetching, swimming, and exploring the great outdoors.
