Rover Intro Hi! I’m Laura and I love spending time with animals in general, but especially dogs. I’ve had dogs my whole life and I’ve worked as a dog walker and in a dog daycare/boarding facility. Beyond dog walking and boarding, I can administer in-home medications and support any training needs that you are currently working on with your dog. In my own experience as a dog owner I’ve worked with multiple trainers and have had the opportunity to learn a lot of helpful calming techniques and safe handling techniques for dogs. Of course, I most enjoy hanging out with my furry companions. I love playing with my 2 year old pup and going on early morning walks together. He’s wild and keeps me on my toes, but he’s such a joy. And, in the evenings I get an opportunity to cuddle up with our sweet 15 year old girl, Little Bit. She’s older now and requires special attention. We also have a 4 year old rescue from Korea that came to us with some significant trauma issues. So, if your companion(s) is timid or anxious, I have plenty of experience in building slow, gentle trust with dogs. If you need a loving, responsible and fun dog walker or dog sitter, I’m your woman!
