Pet care experience
Nine years ago, my family went from having no dogs to three in a matter of weeks- and they were all puppies! Eight months later, we adopted a fourth westie puppy (this time a girl!). At times it has been challenging- our pups love to run & bark & dig, but they have enriched my life more than they have complicated it. I now have my own very spunky and energetic 5yo westie, who I've raised since she was 8wks old and a sweet, affectionate 11 year-old cat.I'm experienced in house-breaking puppies (I did it three times with my own dogs), and my dogs have been strictly trained for walks as well. I make time daily to play with my dog and snuggle because I'm a firm believer that human interaction and love is integral to dogs' health. I will provide this same kind of support, stability, and care for your dog(s)! In terms of cats, I'm experienced feeding, medicating (hello ear drops), scooping litter, and playing with them.

Laura is sweet and loving and caring towards all people and animals. She is especially fond of dogs and I’ve seen how much she cares for the dogs left in her charge. She’s enthusiastic, with a childlike excitement about getting to spend time with a dog, but that doesn’t detract from how organized and responsible she is. If you need someone to care for your dog, whether briefly or for a longe period of time, you won’t find someone better to be sure they are cared for and feel loved.

I love to take dogs on a walk or even a run, and I enjoy playing with them, whether it's tug-of-war style or playing fetch. I also enjoy playing with pets inside the home and providing them with access to chew toys for dogs or lasers and catnip scented toys for cats.
