Pet care experience
I've been a dog-fanatic before I was able to walk and I wear the label "dog person" proudly. This passion grew from being an enthusiastic and responsible dog owner, taking dog training classes, volunteering at the Humane Society, and caring for my own rescues over the years (Lab mix, Akita and American Staffordshire Terrier mix). I'm reliable and have a dependable reputation with my clients. You'll be reassured I will care for your fur-babies like my own. Professionally, I'm a Wildlife Biologist, so my knowledge and passion for animals of all kinds has no limits. I'm also a birder and love the outdoors! Safety/Covid: I am fully vaccinated and wear masks.

Expect that you will be notified on how your dog/cat is doing (and how much fun were having) with photos via text (or phone call if you prefer). If I notice anything concerning or out of the ordinary about your pet (physically or behaviorally) we will work together to come up with the best action plan and solution while you are away.

Would you like me to use certain commands while on walks? 3. Where will the leash and collar be located upon entry? 4. Location of water bowl would be helpful to know if its not obvious, so I can check the level before leaving.
A typical day
A typical day with your dog(s): We’ll go outside to soak in the fresh air and sunshine, walking around your neighborhood or local park (anywhere there are good things to sniff!) Play-time with toys, plenty of scratches, pets, and lots of love is a given! During outings I’ll make sure your pup is properly hydrated (I'll bring a sanitized collapsible bowl with fresh water). After outings I’ll make sure there is plenty of water in your pet’s dish at home. I'll send you lots of photos too! I'll respect your house rules (shoe off policy? no problem!) and put the key back in the correct location.

Availability
Availability: I'm a Wildlife Biologist, so I'm usually available after 3pm Monday-Friday (may be flexible earlier, depending on my schedule). Weekends are more flexible for mornings and early afternoon outings/check-ins.
