1 star rating. If I could give minus 5 stars I would. I hate having to write a horrible review but I feel like it is the least I should do in order to prevent anyone else from going through the same ordeal that Mira, my dog, and I went through. I left Mira in Laura's care on September 28, 2019. The very next day I received a call from a Good Samaritan stranger (Michael) telling me he found Mira. Wtf?!? When you are thousands of miles away, the last thing you want to hear is that your beloved pet is in danger and you are helpless to do anything. My heart sank hearing that Michael had to follow Mira for over 3 miles in his car before Mira finally stopped out of exhaustion and let Michael and his daughter get a hold of her to keep her safe. Mira ran, frightened, across several streets - including San Tomas Expressway (50 mph expressway)!! - before Michael was able to get a hold of her. During this whole ordeal, Laura was of no help at all. I had to message and call her multiple times through Rover app to let her know that Mira escaped. Once she did find out that Mira escaped, she made no offer to help or even apologize. I had to press her for arrangements in order for my good friends to be able to get Mira's things from her house. No way in hell I was going to let Mira go back to that house. Once I knew Mira was finally safe and sound, I started to follow up with Rover and Laura to get a refund. If I were in Laura's shoes, I would have immediately offered a refund given what she put us through. Not only did she not provide any refund, but she has completely ignored my messages asking for an explanation of Mira's escape. Laura put Mira's life at risk in less than a day after I left Mira with her. No apology, no explanation, not even the decency of a refund. Based on my experience, Laura is not fit to care for anyone's pet. To add insult to injury, I see that 2 of Mira's pictures have been added to Laura's profile page. She lost Mira, put her life at risk and still has the nerve to post Mira's picture as an encouragement for others to hire her services?!? This really makes me wonder what kind of care, or complete lack of care, was provided to the other dogs also pictured.

My dog came back very happy and worn out! Would definitely use again.
