I’ve had both dogs and cats since I was born! I had a lovely Golden Retriever named Sunny from age 8 to 14 who I absolutely adored and cared for. From age 16 till now, Mia is our family German Shepard who is a little wild but the greatest friend. In August, I recently adopted my deceased grandmother’s 9 year old cat named Mimi who is the now light of my life! I am her sole caretaker now, as my grandma requested before her passing. She knew how much I loved and cared for animals, including her cat when she didn’t have the strength to. I also have professional experience watching animals. In middle school, I did drop-in visits for 2 cats, including dealing with a vet emergency for 2 weeks. I’ve also watched many cats for weekends, an overnight check-in, or as long as a week. I even have experience working with cats with disabilities; a regular cat I cared for (9+ years) had a missing hind leg. I also have done drop-in visits for my neighbor’s 2 pugs several times!
