Hello there! Thank you for taking the time to check out my profile, if you have any questions at all please don’t hesitate to shoot me a message. My name is Laura, I’m 27 and live with my partner (Chris) of six years in beautiful Horsforth, Leeds. After living with animals my entire life I have found myself, for the very first time, without one. Joining Rover three years ago was a way for me to meet some more furry friends and open up my home to pets of all shapes and sizes. Since then, me and chris have cared for hundreds of dogs anywhere from a day at a time up to 8 weeks. I count myself incredibly lucky to have been able to meet so many wonderful pets and pet owners and it’s brought us an unmeasurable amount of joy to be a part of this community of animal lovers. Chris and I have extensive experience caring for animals of all ages, sizes, and behaviour types and can offer any furry visitor a calm, caring, and loving environment that they can feel comfortable in. We offer a warm welcome, lots of belly rubs, and plenty of fussing for your fur baby. Laura and Chris were absolutely amazing! It was our first time leaving Finley with anyone but family and we felt completely at ease. Laura kept us updated throughout the day with pictures and messages which was great. They also kept Finley busy throughout the day and stayed with him all the time which is perfect as he can be quite nervous. Would definitely recommend booking with them ?
Laura and her partner were incredible with our very anxious miniature dachshund. It usually takes him a while to trust people and settle in new environments but he absolutely loved staying with Laura and that’s down to her patient and kind approach. She kept in regular contact with photos and videos so we could see that he was happy. This meant we could fully enjoy our time away from our little man, knowing he was in safe hands. 100% would recommend.
Laura was amazing with our little rescue. Unfortunately he was a little unsettled but she was very kind and accommodating. She kept us upto date which put us at ease. Would really recommend x

We are lucky enough to live in a well sized, three bed detached house with a private fenced garden and nearby woodlands. With no children or pets of our own, your furry friend will have all of the attention they want and enough space that they can run around in. As part of the booking process we will always endeavour to offer you a meet and greet at least one month before your drop off date to give you an opportunity to put a face to the name and see our home for yourselves. It is also a great way for you to introduce your furry friend and be confident that we’re exactly the right people to look after them. We have a flexible cancellation policy so that you can feel entirely comfortable in making your booking.

Before accepting any booking we’d love to know a little bit about your pet! What are their likes and dislikes, are they feisty or quiet or a little bit in between? Any information you can provide us with will allow us to better determine whether we’re the right people for you and is much appreciated. While we will always try our best to book in meet and greets, it is not always possible to do so, and so your information can be invaluable!
A typical day
If your doggo has a usual routine, we will always try our best to stick to it so that their visit feels as normal and comfortable as possible. We will always go by the doggo though and follow their lead for how best to make their stay enjoyable. Should your furry friend like to explore for hours a day, or just nap on the sofa, we can absolutely accommodate so that they feel happy and content. We always aim to provide the very best possible stay so if there is anything in particular you’d like to mention ahead of your booking please just let us know.

Our home environment allows us to offer complete flexibility around your booking. Both myself and Chris work in creative roles that mean we don’t work your traditional 9-5 and there is always someone guaranteed to be home to look after your furry friend.
