Pet care experience
I have had dogs for all of my life and am currently the dog mom to a 9 year old husky and 1 year old Australian Shepherd. I have shadowed vets, worked In animal husbandry in a research lab, volunteered in the Denver Animal Shelter’s animal clinic and have grown up with dogs, birds and hamsters. All dog breeds and ages are valued by me and I would love spending time outdoors with them either hanging out or walking/running.

Working with Laura was wonderful! She has a lot of great experience and was comfortable with my senior dog, including his medical condition and administering medicine. And just as important, he took to her right away. He loved seeing her on their visits and I trusted her to take care of him and my home. At either my home or my client's home, I always keep a water bowl out and am often taking hourly trips outside for a potty break or a running/walking break. I am comfortable with cleaning up after dogs and applying any medication necessary.

I would love to know temperament details - how do they get on with other dogs? Would they prefer a run or a walk? How do they act when being left alone?
A typical day
I love to run/walk around Green Lake or go to the fun dog parks that are around town! For example, the Woodland Park dog park and the Warren G. Magnuson dog park are personal favorites of my own dogs.

I am currently a remote, part time researcher for the University of Washington so am very flexible and available throughout the week and weekends to perform pet care.
