Most recently, I have been raising Arlo the lab from 8 weeks olds. I am passionate about dogs and dog behaviour and am an Absolute Dogs Partner and Pro Dog Trainer specialising in games based and concept based dog training with a particular focus on reactivity and separation related behaviours. I understand the importance of managing the environment and the structure of a dogs day to set them up for success in anything they are doing whether that be engaging in a game or walk or settling calmly (which can be a challenge for many dogs)!

Laura listened to ralphs needs and quirks, as he can be quite anxious around new people, she put ralph at ease , so much so, that ralph actually climbed onto the sofa and fell asleep for a few hrs on her lap. Picked up a very happy relaxed ralph. Highly recommend.
Laura was brilliant with our dog and he had great fun with Arlo, thank you!

I have a fenced garden which is secure. I have a pet camera for any occasions where I can't be with them for any reason eg. short trip to the shop. I have a small and an XL crate available if this is something your dog will benefit from. I also have completed and passed canine first aid training.

Which vets they are registered at. How they usually spend their time at home. Anything they do or don’t like. Any food intolerances (I make homemade healthy dog treats). Whether they have any behaviour struggles I need to be mindful of. Anything else you feel is important for me to know.
A typical day
We try to avoid routine as much as possible, this prevents my own dog from getting upset if for any reason we can’t meet that usual schedule. However days include lots of physical and mental stimulation whether we play games at home, walk on lead with plenty of time to enjoy all the sniffs, walk off lead in the woods, visit the town. Throughout the day there is also lots of opportunity for rest and downtime to reset and recharge before heading onto the next fun activity.

Availability
I would only make myself available for bookings when I am working from home (which is most of the time) or available on the weekend unless my weekend activities don’t suit your doggo. I live in Faversham where dogs are welcome almost anywhere so if that suits your dog, we'll bring them along. If your dog is like mine and finds busy places like pubs and coffee shops just too exciting, we'll find something more suitable or home based to do during their stay.
