Much experience & much love
Pet care experience
My family and I have always been big dog people, as I grew up always surrounded by dogs: my family and all my relatives have dogs. I love dogs because they provide us with unconditional love and emotional support. I have past experience training and dog-sitting dogs from the Guiding Eyes for the Blind, as well as caring for dogs who require specific or special needs. I cared for my beagle Betty for 13 years, who had arthritis, a heart murmur, cataracts, and was prone to kidney stones. I currently work from home, so I have much flexibility during the week to give your dog the care and attention he/she deserves! Below is my standard Rover routine: -8:00am: morning walk, approx. 20-30min. (depending on dog's energy level), breakfast served afterwards -10:00am: potty break & play in backyard, approx. 30min. -1:00pm: afternoon walk during my lunch break, approx. 20-30min. -4:00pm: potty break & play in backyard, approx. 30min. -7:00pm: evening walk, approx. 20-30min, dinner served afterwards -10:00pm: quick potty break in backyard before bed

Laura really takes the tone to know my dog and that makes all the difference. Thanks Laura for being so amazing and such a support for out family!
Laura is terrific with my dog. She is punctual, kind and responsible. You can feel safe when Laura is watching you pet. Thank you Laura!
Laura was lovely to talk to and very helpful in planning Noodle's stay. She was genuinely interested in knowing her needs and routine. Noodle absolutely loved staying with her and playing in her backyard. I appreciated the text updates and photo/vidéo. Thanks again!

I live in a safe & spacious 2bed/2bath apartment that gives your fur baby plenty of room for zoomies! I also live in a neighborhood with lots of parks and hiking/walking trails walking distance from the building to give your pet all the exercise they need. Unless in a fully secure fenced-in yard (and an area to which I've been before), your dog will always remain on a leash when outside. I am comfortable working with prong collars, harnesses, gentle leaders, muzzles, and various leashes.
Information Laura B. would like to know about your pet
***Dogs must be microchipped and/or tagged. No exceptions.*** Preliminary questions I like to ask: - How many times a day your dog poops & pees? Can they hold their bladder (if so, for how long?) - What is your dog’s behavior near other dogs? Can we pass another dog on the leash safely during walks? Are they comfortable to run with other dogs at doggie parks? - Does your dog experience separation anxiety? If so, what is you recommended way to comfort them? - Has your dog ever escaped from a crate, fence, house, etc.? Do they have escaping tendencies?
A typical day
My boyfriend and I are very active people. In the past, we have taken Rover dogs to parks, hiking trails, outdoor movie screenings, picnics, beaches, play fetch in the park, and star gazing trips!

Availability
I work from home several days out of the week, so I am able to supervise and care for your dog at all hours of the day. I only accept daycare/boarding on days that I work from home, so your dog will never be left alone.
