I pride myself in providing high-quality care to your precious loved ones, when you’re not able to! I ensure that high-quality care is provided by understanding exactly how you would provide care to your pet, and aiming to Exceed you and your pet’s expectations! I ensure responsible and safe care by maintaining liability insurance to mitigate risk as well as adding security and comfort to pet owners and myself. I remain knowledgeable and educated about best practices, training techniques, and grooming techniques. I spend my free time, educating myself on all things pets, from body language to responding to commands, to health concerns, to the most tasty, natural, homemade dog treats! I’m experienced with various pets and animals of all kinds, from livestock, to small farm animals, to pets like dogs, cats and birds (house birds or large birds like an African macaw) reptiles, and rodents, but I do Prefer dogs (🤭🤫). This does not mean that I provide better care to any one animal over another; it just means that I personally receive the most joy from my interactions and experiences with dogs and it’s generally the most rewarding experience for me. My ability to care for other animals is not hindered by my preference in any way, and I’m not bias. I truly care for every living animal, and I absolutely adore nature! My goal is to continue to live happily while providing specialized, high-quality care for those in life that bring me organic passion, drive, and joy! I care for pets in my home or in my clients home, as they would expect me to. If there are specific wishes, once, desires, needs, I absolutely follow those instructions ensure that I am paying close attention to detail. Unless the home/pet owner is aware, I would not bring any outside animals into the home while caring for them. I offer general companionship services, walking/hiking services/grooming services - inclusive of bathing, ear, cleaning, and nail trimming, and basic training.

I appreciate transparency from the owner of the animal / pet, and I’m happy to accommodate an array of medical needs, as well as special diets, and special treatment for certain behaviors. I am experienced with reactive dogs, and the need to separate certain dogs. I’m also experienced with handling a dog that requires a muzzle, for whatever they need. I have also successfully integrated “Non-friendly and reactive dogs” with other dogs and created life long bonds. I have worked as a volunteer and a foster for two different rescues in Connecticut and have been fortunate enough to provide a safe place for these loving animals to stay while I work to find a furver Home for them, with the Rescue.
A typical day
“Fun” can be different to each individual animal, just as it is to a person. I think it’s important to know and understand that and respect it. Animals provide body language and exhibit certain behaviors to let us know when they’re happy and having fun, and usually the owner is the most aware of what brings their animals joy! I rely on you to tell me what your pet enjoys and I’m happy to accommodate! Generally, I enjoy bringing dogs for walks, hikes, swims, rides and runs through open fields, to name a few!

Availability
Pet care is my schedule and my priority. I am dedicating 100% of my time to caring for animals and the needs of others. This fits very well in-alignment with my passion and purpose for helping others in this life! I am currently located in JAY, Maine, as reflected in my profile however, I am planning to relocate back to the shoreline in Connecticut, where I have called home most of my life. I currently blocked out my calendar for anything that is beyond where I will be located in Maine, so I ensure that I schedule appropriately and don’t miss any appointments while getting near the time I’m relocating. I plan to update my profile and unblock all of the dates, most likely the first week of July and continue providing services however they will be on the shoreline in Connecticut, and surrounding areas. My plan is to open a business that provides pet care services and has a facility to provide doggy daycare services on a regular basis (eventually… one thing at a time)! 🐾
