Pet care experience
I'm an Aussie that grew up with dogs, cats, and horses. I moved to NYC 10 years ago from my home country and miss having pets in my life. Most specifically, dogs. My husband and I don't have the lifestyle for a pet of our own at this point but I work from home so have a flexible schedule that would allow me time to get my pup fix by helping out other dog owners who don't have that kind of work flexibility, especially when it comes to walks and potty breaks. I hope to find people/dogs that I can walk and/or sit for on a regular basis so a rapport can be built between us all. Finally, people have entrusted me with their children and dogs in the past so I'm more than happy to provide references!

I have honestly never met a dog or animal lover as invested as Laura. I have watched her care for numerous dogs over the years. Be them foster dogs, friends dogs or pups she's offered to walk and look after in our building. She truly cares for animals and their wellbeing. She is organized, trustworthy and deeply honest. She crosses all her t's and dots her i's. She's incredibly communicative and will ensure that you know that your fur child is in the safest of hands. I cannot recommend her highly enough. If you're looking for someone who will give your dog or cat the best possible care along with so much love, then this is your person!

I love all dogs and have fostered larger dogs (Great Dane) in the past. I love the bigger breeds and would happy to walk them as long as they walk well on a leash.
A typical day
I live on the west side of Manhattan and we have dog parks within walking distance and can also walk along the Hudson River. I'm also in a dog-friendly building (with elevators!) so there are chances that your pup will have a canine friend riding the elevator with them and will be able to get around the building with ease.
