Loving care: Put your mind at ease
Pet care experience
Hamsters, bearded dragons, dogs, chameleons, cats: I have had them all! I am a very responsible and reliable animal lover ready to serve YOUR furry or scaly family member! Sorry, but no tarantulas or snakes. It's not that I don't love them, but they are way out of my comfort level!

Exceptional! Outstanding! The words still don't do her justice! Laura was so great to work with, so caring and amazing with my animals, and very understanding about my unpredictable work schedule. She helped me tremendously with my fur family, and did such an over the top job watching the 3 of them. Above and beyond! I'd absolutely recommend her and ask her to watch my animals again, no hesitation!
Laura is an incredible dog-sitter. She was patient and our dogs seemed to have enjoyed their time with her judging the pictures 🥰. She even took the time to leave homemade frozen treats for our dogs and treats with a sweet note for our boys wishing them a great school year. If you need a sitter for your dog, do not hesite to contact Laura 😊
Laura was a wonderful sitter to our dogs. She came to our house to meet Bear and Finn a week before the visit. She made delicious treats and our dogs loved them. Laura allowed them to get comfortable and we knew they were going to be ok. During the visit, Laura kept us posted about everything from feeding, small accidents and playtime. If you schedule drop-in visits with Laura make sure to have cleaning supplies ready just in case. Laura sent pictures of our dogs and we are thankful for her services.
Laura watched our dog Howdy for almost a whole week! She loved him so well he was sad to come home! She was an excellent communicator and was always sending us updates or photos of him. Howdy got along really well with her animals and has so much fun playing with them. Will definitely book with Laura again!!!

Safety, trust & environment
I have a completely fenced-in back yard and a pool. We never let our dog out there unless supervised. Depending on the needs of your pet, we can give more/less freedom than that. A meet & greet is required for me to board your pet and also for day-care situations. I have a 90 pound chocolate lab who was traumatized as a puppy, so he gets anxious around certain dogs. For the safety of your pet and mine, we will have to decide on a neutral place to meet and see how it goes. Dom gets along with most dogs, but if they tend to be aggressive, we might not be a good fit. If I am dropping in on your pet, you can be assured that they will have my full attention. The only time I will be on my phone is to snap some pictures of your little darling and to check for any communications with you. Please keep in mind that 30 minutes goes by very quickly. If your pet requires extra care such as medicine that needs to be administered, or little messes that need to be cleaned up or bathroom hesitancy, we might need to consider a longer visit.

Information Laura A. would like to know about your pet
I'd love to know any secrets that you have for maximizing our playtime or walk time. How does your dog do with other dogs, especially big ones? Does your dog feel comforted or terrified by time spent in a kennel?
A typical day
I look forward to interacting with every pet in my care. I will work with you to determine the best place for playtime and for walks. I am happy to bring my own toys for playtime (for drop-ins) or can use toys that you have at your house. Your pet will feel very loved during our time together.

I recently retired from teaching for many years. Fortunately for me AND for you, this means I have more time and flexibility to care for others' pets. The parents of my students used to comment that I have the patience of a saint. My number one goal when teaching was to make every student KNOW that they were valuable to me. I desire to carry that compassion over to my pet services. While caring for pets, my priority will be the comfort and care of those entrusted to me. I take this responsibility very seriously.
