As a child we always had dogs and cats in our family, and now I have a houseful myself with 2 dogs and 3 cats! I have been caring for my own pets for years, and over the past 10 years I have been caring for pets of friends, family, and clients. I have always loved having pets in the family, and I am lucky to work in the pet industry as well at Chewy! I have cared for a variety of furry family members, including dogs with severe separation anxiety, cats who prefer to stay hidden until you shake the treat bag, large dogs who love to slobber, small dogs who love to bark at the wind, high energy dogs who are tough on the leash, as well as mild ones who are a breeze to take out for a jaunt around the neighborhood. I am confident in my abilities to work with animals and show them care and affection, as well as ensuring they are playing, releasing energy, getting plenty of water and feeding them, and lots of snuggles!

I called Laura on a Thursday trying to find a pet sitter to do last minute drop in visits with our domesticated outside cat who recently adopted us. Laura said she was available and came by the next day to meet us and the cat. She made two drop in visits to feed Cindy Lou and sent pics each time. She was friendly and warm and my dog warmed up to her right away. We appreciated the last minute booking and will undoubtedly use Laura again in future to pet sit for us.
Laura did a great job and checked in with me daily with pictures and updates on my kitties. I would highly recommend her to anyone.She is wonderful. I will definitely be calling her again.
Laura is absolutely the very best pet sitter. Just arrived home from a short trip to spend time with my family. Loved my daily reports and photos and finding my kitty safe and sound with clean letters and full food bowls and water when I got home! If you need a sitter for your pets, you can count on more giving them all the love and care you need while you're out or away.
Laura is hands down the BEST cat sitter in all the land. She’s so loving and sends the best photos of our little guy every day. Our cat was in such good spirits when we returned from our latest trip and I really think it was because Laura took such great care of him. Thank you Laura! ❤️

I currently am unable to board client's pets in my home, but I am available for overnight stays in the client home. I have a few current clients who use my services in this capacity, where I stay overnight and care for their pets while they are gone. I do daily feedings as required by each individual, multiple walks, lots of play time and cuddles. If your dog already has training key words, I can learn and use them to maintain consistency. I am very respectful of my client's space, and clean before leaving so you are coming home to happy pets and a clean space.

A typical day
I love giving dogs the chance to get some of their energy out. Lots of play time with toys, playing fetch, and going on walks. With dogs I am super familiar with, I am comfortable taking them to dog parks or to the beach. Otherwise we will take walks around the neighborhood and finding all the new scents for the pups to sniff out, maybe running into some other dogs and making friends!

I currently work a remote job from home that allows me lots of availability to create my own work schedule around stop in requests and short visits. For overnights, I just require WiFi access to be able to work from my laptop.
