Hi there! I'm Laura and I live with my dog Jedi in East Van. I love dogs and have lots of cuddles to give! Your furry best friend will be well cared for, loved like my own, and will be in 24/7 company. I'm an experienced dog sitter who grew up with dogs, trained them, and have dog sat for friends and family in the past. I used to take Jedi to my dog-friendly office, but since being fully remote, I can tell that he misses his doggy friends throughout the day. This is a part of the reason I'd love to care for your dog. Jedi is a Pug X Aussie who was adopted when he was just a puppy, 9 years ago. He is very well-trained, well-mannered, and sweet. He loves other dogs and is happy to share his space with other fur-iends, big or small. Before bringing your dog into our home, we would introduce them outside in a neutral space to ensure they are comfortable with each other. We are only allowed 2 dogs in our home, meaning I can only take one additional dog. If you have more than one dog, I'm happy to discuss alternate options, like home visits.

Laura cared for our beloved Pippa for nearly three weeks while we were travelling abroad. We were immediately struck by her responsibility and responsiveness, as she navigated Pippa's care with love and attention, ensuring she was safe and happy. Laura took really good care of Arya, like she was her own. She took her out several times during the day and made it play with her dog Jedi. They are now best friends! I'm definitely going to contact Laura again to take care of Arya!
Laura was amazing with Noelle. She provided updates and made me feel at ease. Noelle had such a great time and she definitely enjoyed her time hiking. I would 100% recommend Laura and would go back to her anytime. Great experience.

I live in a condo so dog walks are a natural part of my day. Once in the morning, an afternoon/evening walk, and another before bed. There are lots of parks nearby. It's a short drive to dog parks and beaches and I don't mind taking your dog in the car with me. We live in a beautiful neighbourhood with lots of grass and trees for all the sniffing! Jedi is great off-leash, but I would need to be very comfortable with your dog to take them to an off-leash park or dog park, with your permission. We want to give your pet the comfort and love they need and are able to adjust our schedule as needed for additional walks, feeding times, play times. I can easily accommodate crating and medicine as well.

A typical day
I take Jedi on 2-3 walks each day; typically around the neighbourhood, but often to a local dog park, beach, or trail on the Northshore Mountains/Pacific Spirit park. Jedi always lets me know when its time to stop working and start playing! We will set up an obstacle course, do a scavenger hunt, or play fetch before dinner time.
