We always had a dog while I was growing up. Once I got older our family started rescuing abandoned and abused dogs. I've had dogs with back injuries to dogs with mouth sensitivity. I'd love to have my own dog, I just don't feel like an apartment is the right place for one to live full time. I still get the oppurtunity to take care of my parents dog on occasion when they go on vacation. When she comes to stay with me she gets a change of pace and enjoys lots of walks. Every time she goes home they say she seems so happy. I enjoy having dogs in my home because they bring so much positive energy and love with their individual personalities.
