**Pet Sitting, in your home** While I cannot offer pet sitting/board IN my home I can stay in your home where your pets feel most comfortable and secure. I am a tidy house guest and fastidious to animal needs, be it from a reassuring cuddle after you've left or more complicated needs of senior animals and special needs pets. I have a great deal of hands on experience and training from my nearly three years at my local humane society where I tended to the needs of many animals in need. You can rest assured during your time away from home that your pets will get the same love and care they would receive if you were home. Your holiday with the family or summer vacation doesn't have to be peppered with worry for your pets, I always provide updates and even photos while you're away. When you come home your house will be in order, your pets will be excited to see you and I guarantee you'll be a repeat customer. :) **Pet Care Drop-Ins** I used to work very long shifts an hour away which meant I was out of the house by 6am and didn't get home till after 8pm. That was a very long time I had to leave my dogs at home alone with no turn out, treats, walks or affection. ...and at no fault of their own I always had an accident to clean up but who could blame them, I didn't have anyone to turn them out because my spouse also worked long hours like me. During a Pet Care Drop-In I'll clean up any mess a pet may have made, accidents do happen even to the most house broke dog. That includes an accident in a crate, because sometimes sh*t happens, right? Drop-Ins will include play time, affection, treats if allowed and outdoor exercise time. If you have a fenced in yard we will play outside within the fence, if you don't we will play on leash outside to stretch those legs and expel some energy. Not only will having me stop by for Drop-Ins mean your chances of coming home to a hyper dog full of energy who has messed in the house are greatly reduced. That means they are less stressed out and YOU are less stressed out! It's a win win for everyone including me. This of course is not limited to dogs, I am a cat lover too (got my cat tattooed on my arm haha) and will dole out the love and snuggled to all your pets, no matter if they bark, meow, neigh or hiss. If permitted I'll always show up bearing (owner approved) treats for both dog and cat pals. :) **Dog (pet) Walking** Much like Drop-Ins I can show up and take your dogs for a walk, even if you're home but you're under the weather or you have family over or you just plain don't feel like it. Walking is great exercise for your pets and even better exercise for me so this one is a win win as well. ;) Walking will always be in safe areas, and with the same attention I show my own dogs when we go for a walk. I am wary of my surroundings, I pay attention to what we are walking THROUGH least there is broken glass or something that could cause paw damage. I am careful with my dogs when we go for walks and hold myself to a high standard that will ensure your pet (heck yes if your cat walks on a leash I can walk him or her too) is safe and happy during their walks and look forward to seeing me and knowing they are about to have fun and go on an adventure.
