Pet care experience
I’ve house and dog sat for friends and family, and never realized I could actually do it for strangers, too! I’ve trained hunting dogs, handled lab puppies from birth to giving them to their new owners. I’m patient, kind, and can’t afford my own dog- but still buy boxes of milkbones to keep in my car in case I see one. I’ve also had cats, so I know how to handle the shyest and most skittish of creatures. I’ve pet sat everything from parrots to bearded dragons to horses- I just love all kinds of critters, and can’t wait to make new friends. If you invite me into your home to help watch your pet, I always leave it cleaner than when I walked in.

Great communication and care with our dog Wrigley that needed a friend to hang out with while we were visiting Nashville for 2 days. Larissa was very kind and even offered to grab us some groceries while at the store before she arrived. Her flexibility with times allowed us to experience and enjoy nashville.
This was our first time contacting Larissa for house sitting and it was terrific experience for us and our two pups. Larissa did a thorough meet & greet with us beforehand and checked in with us a few days before our trip. We received updates letting us know how our dogs were doing while we were away and our house was clean and taken care of once we returned. Looking forward to using Larissa again in the future!
Larissa sent us pictures and kept us up to date on how our dog was doing. We arrived home with a clean house and a happy dog.
Larissa was great and kept my little pup happy and healthy. She even helped me with her topical medication and trying to keep her to her routine.

If the home has a safe, fenced in backyard we will play tons of fetch! When the weather's nice, I enjoy opening the windows and leaving the door open so pooches can chill inside or out, their preference. I enjoy having a sleeping snuggle buddy, but also understand if a dog sleeps best in their own space. Head scritches, belly rubs, and ear massages are my specialty.

Please let me know about any allergies or medications your dogs need, as well as if they get along with others. I'm great with skittish, anxious, or shy animals- I can patiently wait with the Peanut Butter Spoon until someone decides I'm not a threat. Dietary preferences I would need to know, as well as regular feeding times or walking times that the dogs are used to. I'm here to work around their regular schedule to the best of my ability.
A typical day
I love to play fetch, tug of war, chase, and take dogs for walks- we can go as far as 3 miles or something shorter. I enjoy going to dog parks almost as much as the dogs- it's always fun to meet new friends and see which owners look the most like their dog. Two Rivers dog park is my favorite in the Nashville area- just can't beat the big open space.

Availability
I work full time in an office, so I'm best with a walk before breakfast and a walk once I get home. I usually unwind by watching a movie, all snuggled up with a cozy blanket. If it's the weekend, love to do something special- a drive with the windows down, go to a dog park for an hour or two, get a special treat, etc.
