Hello! I'm Larissa, and I can't wait to meet your fur baby. I'm the proud owner of two beautiful dogs; Neptune is my 4-year-old German Shepherd, and Trout is my 2-year-old Miniature Australian Shepherd. I'm a military wife and currently I'm not working, just taking care of our home and our pets. Because of that, my schedule is open for the most part. If you need a dog sitter or a dog walker, let's set up a meet and greet :) Here's a bit of background about my animal-caring experience: While growing up I was a serious cat lover. Throughout my life my family cared for several cats of widely varying personalities, my favorite of which being a small, calico bobtail named Mia. She was quite the huntress, always bringing us her prey and leaving it at the front door (she once managed to carry a live bird inside our house, yikes!). I also grew up with dogs. My family's first dogs were German Shepherds, we had two! They quickly captured my heart with their intelligence and good nature. GSDs hold a very special place in my heart (I guess that's why I chose one to be my first pet as an adult). After the passing of our shepherds, we came to be the owners of 2 miniature dachshunds. Big or small, I love them all! When it comes to animal care, I'm pretty much a go-to person. I know about nutritional care and what to keep far away from your babies. I prefer to never give pets people food. An exception I've used with my own dogs is with medication, I usually will sneak it into a ball of peanut butter or cheese. Is dental care important for your pet? I can brush their teeth! I can groom long haired pets with my Furminator. I can gently trim your dog's nails. I can give them a bath (yes, even big dogs). I can teach the basic commands sit, down, stay, and come, as well as teach fun tricks like shake, roll over, and spin. And, of course, I can get your pet excercised with walks and games! :) I'm so excited to meet your pet; Let's set up a meet and greet!
