I cared for a dog that was severely obese and could only walk a few feet at a time before having to be carried back to the house. A dog that had anxiety so severe that he wouldnt stop shaking- i had to keep him alone on the other side of my house for days. He had no teeth and bit us multiple times the day he arrived. Eventually he was comfortable enough to let us approach and pet him- all he needed was time and patience. I also boarded a cat that had the same exact problems and needed the same solution. I've taken care of dog that was 13 years old so we moved our ottoman into the master bedroom to use as a stair so he could get on and off the bed without getting hurt. I boarded a dog that was severely sick and was vomiting and had diarrhea (TMI i know sorry). I litterally stayed up over 24 hours taking care of him because he had to be let out every 45 minutes to go to the bathroom. I had to keep giving him baths because he kept getting his waste all over himself. Another dog that wouldnt go potty outside unless you went outside with her and told her "go potty" and pointed at the grass. She peed in the house 100 times before i learned she only peed outside by command and that shed hold her pee every time she goes outside. I try my hardest to go above and beyond for the owners and animals in my care.
