Professionally, my pet care experience began in 2021 when I started working at "Dogtopia" in Oklahoma. There I learned a trade of techniques, including: how to read dog body language, basic command training, I even learned how to bathe and dry properly! Later on I worked at an animal shelter for about a year, where I handled dogs of all different ages, breeds, temperaments, sizes, (and strengths!). I assisted in the care of 50 to 70 dogs on a daily basis, which included: feeding, medicating, walking/handling, enrichment, and training. Since entering the "animal field", I haven't once looked back! Personally, my pet care experience began in 2009 when we got our first family dog, Max. He was and will always be my first real best friend. Since his passing, my family and I have raised 3 dogs through puppyhood. Sigrid, who is in her senior years now, lives with me. Nova we had sent to a K9 Academy for Police training. And Topa is our most recent addition to the family. He's currently in his "Velociraptor" phase. Luckily for myself, he lives with my parents! My pet care experience ranges from newborn pups, to seniors in diapers. From Chihuahuas, to Great Danes and Mastiffs. Rough players, to cuddlers. I love them all.
