My name is Lara S. and I am a student in New York. I love animals and grew up on a small farm in north Florida. I love pet sitting and chose to do it as a way to stay active, be able to meet and love your furry friends, and make a little extra on the side to get through school! I have experience with dogs, cats, small animals, chickens, ducks, goats and reptiles. Services include pet walking, pet sitting (both at my place and at yours) and light grooming. I grew up with dogs, cats and reptiles so I have experience walking them, making sure they get their proper medications if necessary, feeding, light grooming, and general care. The other animals were on the farm so general caretaking. Can’t wait to meet your pets :)

Lara is my daughter. She has always been a "dog person." We have had three "rescues" which all have loved her and she has loved as well. When she is home, the dogs disappear to her room every night and everyone else in the house is an after-thought to the mutts. She is a natural care-giver...so of course what higher praise can you give other than to say that I would trust her with my own dogs...and I have!
I am a veterinary technician and have worked in the field for 10 years. I currently own a young Boston Terrier who, like most Boston Terriers, is full of energy and excitement; sometimes too much! I've had the pleasure of watching Lara and my dog, Martin, interact over the last few months. She is capable of calming him down when he needs to be calm, which is a bonus. She has stayed overnight on more than one occasion. She is clean, competent, and loving.
