Pet care experience
I grew up with dogs and cats and, for several years, I have volunteered as a foster and dog walker for several dog and cat shelters. Previously, I worked as a in-home dog sitter for several families while they traveled as well as nanny for families with dogs that required dog sitting. I have experience with many kinds of dogs, from Yorkies to Dobermans, puppies to seniors in need of special care. There isn't a dog or a cat that I've met that I haven't loved! I also have experience administering medication.

Lara was super responsible and caring with my dog, Winter. She made sure I knew how Winter was doing after each visit and was available whenever I contacted her for any concern. I would definitely book her again in the future and would recommend her for your pets.
Lara did a fantastic job! Max (cat) really warmed up to her. The pictures she sent made me miss him less. She cleaned his bowls, gave him fresh water, cleaned the goo out of his eye and off my floor!!! She played with him as well. She did a great job!
Lara is an animal lover, and animals love her, too. She is kind, responsible, and trustworthy. Lara has taken my doberman, Mika, for a walk/pee breaks over the past few years. She really went above and beyond what she was asked to do by spending a lot of time with Mika and she also sent photos which was reassuring when I was away from home. It was great to have the peace of mind that Mika was in good hands with someone who has good judgement and a kind disposition. I strongly recommend her.
Lara would make an excellent dog or pet caregiver! She has volunteered at animal shelters and help rescue and place cats . She is a compassionate and responsible pet owner with a heart for all types of animals. I would highly recommend her for this position. Sincerely, Julie McDowell

A typical day
I love to run so if you want your pup to get extra exercise, I am happy to run with them or to play fetch with them. I love local parks, allowing the dogs to get lots of new smells and for them to enjoy nature on trails off of the pavement!

I have open availability on weekends but during the week I am only free after 5pm. I am also available for long-term schedules as well as last minute bookings.
