Pet care experience
I love working with animals, and couldn't imagine life without these furry companions! I have worked in veterinary hospitals and clinics for about the last 10 years, so know much about certain medical conditions and can give medication. I have much knowledge on many different dog breeds, such as temperament and likes/dislikes. Before that I worked at doggy daycare's and doggy salons, so I would also be happy to give them a bath if needed, or a good brush down if that's better. I can also cut nails, (if the pup isn't too scared).I'm very protective and responsible, your pet will be safe in my hands on walks. I've had pets all my life, from large dogs to small exotic pets, cats too! I will take care of your furry baby as if it's my own.

Lara is the best!!
I felt so at ease having Lara checking in on my two cats while I was away for about a week! She gave thorough updates and cleaned up after my cats as the made some messes while I was away. She also provided many pictures and videos which were so nice to get while being away from them. I would highly recommend Lara for anyone looking for a sitter!
Lara is amazing! She took the time to let my pup get used to her and she was very happy! She made sure to ask questions and gave her some autonomy to feel comfy. Would definitely choose Lara again when needed!

Information Lara L. would like to know about your pet
I do not have any breed preferences, I love all types of dog breeds. Of course I would like to know any allergies, or if there are any medications that need to be given. Also, if there is any specific thing that scares them or we should stay away from, because I know there are a lot of rescues(abused) out there and every pet has their own personality that I would like to accommodate to. I want them to feel comfortable and safe.
A typical day
Depending on where you and your pup lives, is where we will go. If your near the beach, I'll take them to the beach. If there are trails nearby I'll take them for a hike. Or if it's just around the neighborhood I'll make sure your dog loves their walk. I let them set their own pace, always letting them to stop and sniff the flowers. Or if they prefer for a light jog or run, I'll do that too with them. If they like to fetch I'll play ball as long as they want. Also, if they like to go to dog parks I know a few good ones I would be happy to bring them to play. I have have the most friendliest Papillion in the world, and if your dog would like a buddy for a walk or visit he would be happy to come along too.
