I’ve had pets since I was ten years old. My first love was cats, but I was in my early twenties when I fell in love with a Doberman, and it’s been all about dogs since then. Over the past thirty years I’ve been blessed to share my home with said Doberman, a German Shorthaired Pointer, a Boxer; and then some smaller friends: a Boston Terrier, and a Yorkie. I’ve also opened my home to my sister’s Shih Tzu when my sister was not able to care for him. I’ve been without a pet since my little Yorkie passed away, so I treasure the time I get to spend with my neighbors’ dogs- playtime, walks, feeding, and even sleepovers.
