Pet care experience
I currently have 2 energetic male dogs at home, a 6 year old Australian Cattle Dog (blue heeler) and a 3 year old Australian Shepherd. They get along with both people and dogs. I work full time during the week (typically Mon-Fri, Mon-Thur in the summer) and board dogs on the side, so during my work week I have specific drop off and pick up times. I would prefer to have kennel trained dogs for while I'm at work or need to run an errand. It is for their own safety so they dont hurt themselves or get into something they shouldn't while I'm away. I have extra large kennels I can set up so you don't have to haul yours! I only take a few dogs in at a time so I can have my full attention on them all. I have private clients as well so my calendar may not always be accurate.
Reviews
Lani is absolutely amazing! She took a chance on our very anxious dog that we needed care for last minute! It worked out well because she is truly a dog loving good person & our anxious dog felt very at ease with her. She literally saved our very important trip! We are sooooo grateful!
Bailey had a blast again with Lani and her dogs during her stay! She was wiped out when she got home so you know it was a great stay. Highly recommend!!
Lani was excellent with my two dogs. Highly recommend her for anyone looking to have a reliable sitter for their dogs.
Bailey had such a fun time with Lani and her dogs! She slept all day after I picked her up which means a tired dog is a happy dog! Will definitely be booking with Lani again in the future and highly recommend her for others looking for similar services!

Still can't decide if I'm the best fit? Here's some extra information of how I go above and beyond to give your dogs the best care and why you should book with me: I have my own personal boarding insurance I pay for annually to cover anything unexpected. My yard is treated with wondercide flea/tick spray. I have doggy first aid items (such as gauze bandage rolls, 3 way ointment, styptic powder, eye wash, benadryl, etc.) Dogs are put away at drop offs and pick ups so no one gets out the front door, I also like to let your dog/s sniff around the house before being bombarded and overwhelmed right away. I have gates and a large house to close off certain areas if dogs need to be seperated for whatever reason (mainly during feeding times) I make sure to wash food/water bowls. I usually only leave out large super chewer toys that can't be destroyed or ingested. On my work days, there is a camera on the dogs who are kenneled so I can peek on them when I am away. Collars usually come off when inside the house if they have tags hanging from them to keep from getting caught in places such as vents or other dogs collars. No collars or harnesses on in kennels. I usually only ask you to bring just their food and have your dogs leashed for pick ups and drop offs, that way their belongings such as toys dont get lost. If they have a favorite bed or blanket they can't be without thats okay to bring too! Your dogs will leave happy and tired from getting exercise playing with my dogs both inside and outside. I do this as a side gig because I love dogs! Most of the money I make from rover goes right back to the dogs, such as purchasing new beds/blankets, treats, toys, cleaning supplies, etc.

Information Lani P. would like to know about your pet
First of all, do they get along with other dogs. Kennel trained? Potty trained? How often do I feed them and how much food? Other examples of things you can tell me- Garbage eater? Toilet bowl drinker? Toy destroyer? Excited pee-er? Aggressive eater? Jumper, biter, ANYTHING let me know so I can make adjustments and be as prepared as possible.

Please message me with any questions or concerns you may have, I like to get back to everyone as fast as I can. Let me know if it's your first time booking on Rover I'll give you my promo code for $20 off your first booking with me!

I have a large fenced in yard that I supervise when the dogs are out. My place is filled with treats, pet safe cleaning supplies (accidents happen) and tons of toys (mainly super chewer toys). My boys are allowed on the furniture and beds, so your fur babies are more than welcome to be where they please. Plenty of pet beds and blankets to make your pet as comfortable as possible. Your pets sleep in my bedroom unless you prefer them somewhere else.
