Pet care experience
My family had several dogs while I was growing up so I got used to the routine of caring for them. I currently own an 9 month old puppy, so I have the daily responsibility of caring for an animal, and would love to take care of dogs whenever I can! I do have various dog sitting experience. I used to dog sit for a family friend for a few years whenever they would go out of town for a weekend, and in college I would go to the Humane Society to walk dogs as well. Additionally, I've been a sitter/walker on Rover for a few years now I am a law student at Lewis & Clark Law School, and my class schedule leaves many hours open in which I need some type of work, so I would be available to let a dog out in the middle of the day, etc. I also have my own car so I would be able to do so reliably. I'm studying environmental law and animal rights advocacy. My availability would be part time during the week but I am also available on weekends.

Lani and I have been friends for years. She has experience dog sitting for a family friend and walking dogs at the humane society. She is a big animal lover- especially for dogs. I have first hand seen her take care of animals as her roommate. She will take great care of yours!

I do not have any breed preferences. I pretty much love all dogs and cats equally. I would just want to know if the dog has any issues with strangers, aggression, etc
A typical day
Since I have been living in Portland for a few years, I know of several parks and trails I would love to take dogs. I LOVE playing with dogs. I'm a pretty active person and like to run distance races, so it would be good training for me as well as having fun.
