Pet care experience
Hi, my name is laney i am 19 years old and i have a 10 year old maltese she is a beauty and i have been taking care of her for 10 years so i have very good experience with dogs that need special care. I am a college student in santa barbara studying to get my B.S in psychobiology and then medical school to be a pediatric oncologist. I have a lot of experience with animals my parents have 6 dogs from small to large and they also have a persian cat! My parents exotic micro bully had babies december of 2021 and some were born with a cleft lip so i would personally have to bottle feed them and nourish them because the mother was not able to so i had to help get them caught up with strength and growth. Overall i am a well experienced trustworthy and responsible pet owner.

Laney was the perfect choice to care for our girl while we attended a day long event. ❤️ she sent pics and even introduced her to a dog stroller with tent. Thank you Laney, hope to see you again when we're down there.
Laney was very nice to take our two dogs.
Laney was a great pal to our dog Suki for three days. Suki was happy to see us, but not crazy like she is when she leaves a kennel. That tells me she was a happy pup at Laney’s.

i live in a apartment with special gate code yard that only i have access to. I also have 2 crates if anyone wants their dog crated, i have many treats and snacks for any dog and food if needed. I have a 10 year old maltese who is super tiny but if that is a problem i can always crate her. The pets are safe for anything i have no restrictions to couches beds or anything i can always wash them etc. I also have a bathing spot available for them if they need baths or anything!

A typical day
I love to let the dogs get their sniff in during walks, i love taking them to a doggy park at elings park they have amazing pet amenities such as a doggy water fountain, bath center, doggy wall and many more! i always carry extra water, food and toys to keep them company if they need to stop. i usually do 10,000 steps a day so i can walk for a long time. I love to stop at starbucks so i can get the doggy’s their pup cups as a treat or take them downtown to interact with other dogs.

Availability
I currently have a job as a youth development specialist but i get off of work super early around 2 or 3 so i am flexible with anytime after that. I can also change my shifts if anyone needs a sitter or anything for the morning.
